GPS Integrated Solutions (GPSIS) is committed to personal privacy and business confidentiality.

We believe our device is the most secure non military commercial outback navigation system on the market and will assist any prospective fleet customer to test our device for data and/or security vulnerabilities.

Prior to our GPSIS app suite install and In addition to the features below, we reset the PND device back to factory defaults and then remove over 40 bloat-ware apps to increase performance and remove potential security risk apps.

The ONIS:

• is securely locked down, and installation of additional apps or access to the Android settings is not permitted
• incorporates a VPN to block all App WiFi data traffic other than ONIS updates
• does NOT include or support a mobile SIM card
• has Bluetooth connectivity which is limited to the TPMS BLE wheel sensors, or other peripherals that nay be supplied by GPSIS at a later date
• logs a number of system, driving, location and vehicle speed parameters which is only accessible from the ONIS unit and is attributed to the device serial number and hence is NOT personal information.

During after sales service or warranty return, GPSIS will keep ONIS data safe, secure and confidential.

Any data retained by GPSIS in regard to estimates, quotes or purchases will remain confidential between the customer and GPSIS.

Note:

Users and Owners of the ONIS must act in accordance with the Australian data protection and privacy laws.

The ONIS user can disable the "Data Logging & Tracklogs" (default build is enabled)  using the setting menu, however the user should note that the Tracklog functionality will also be disabled as it contains data that is covered by the laws.

In the business modes, the ONIS owner has the ability to prevent the user from disabling the "Data Logging & Tracklogs" and this must be performed in accordance with laws.

As the ONIS does not upload any data to the www, historical logged data is only available on the ONIS device and external SD memory card.

If "Data Logging & Tracklogs" is disabled, the historical logged data will NOT contain location or speed information.
