User Information

ONIS User Information can be configured with information to assist the driver where:

• 8 data buttons can be configured by the customer, or GPSIS with phone contacts or other information

• data buttons can be configured with a text editor and PC connection 

• data buttons configured by GPSIS during the build process, and buttons configured in the system secure area will have a light pink background

• the first 3 data buttons have been configured by GPSIS to contain phone contacts for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) emergencies, injured wildlife, and WA shires and councils.

User Information can be updated by the customer after purchase using the external SD card or download from the customer www file server.

Outback Navigation Information System (ONIS) User Videos can be configured with up to 8 videos to assist the driver.

Button descriptions can be configured using a text editor and PC connection

Videos must be:

• file type:    .mov

• aspect ratio:    landscape 16:9

• size limit:    300 MB maximum.

ONIS User Videos can be updated after purchase by using the external SD card.

Video data is NOT able to be updated using the www due to size limitations of large video files.
