OUTBACK NAVIGATION INFORMATION SYSTEM
The Outback Navigation Information System (ONIS) has a System & Settings menu available from the main menu and contains:
The user can set the default settings for the ONIS from this menu.
The owner has the ability to pre-set / disable some of the functions.
The user can add a unique vehicle ID to the ONIS which will be used in various screens and log files.
The ID is limited to 10 characters and can be a combination of numerals and upper case letters.
NOTE:
The “Set Vehicle ID” option is available to all users that have access to the default setting menu allowing the ONIS to be easily moved between vehicles or replaced. The user can then set the new Vehicle ID in the ONIS unit.
All changes to the ONIS Vehicle ID are logged and time stamped and viewable by the owner or user and secured in the system area.
NOTE:
The "Set Owner Options" function is NOT available in "User Mode".
The user can enable / disable individual TPMS wheel sensors.
The "16 PSI" & "28 PSI" quick set buttons allow the user to easily toggle between Highway and Sand driving
The TPMS Bluetooth wheel senor bindings are performed from the "TPMS Configuration" option.
The user can adjust the current volume or screen brightness.
NOTE: the defaults will be loaded when the ONIS is restarted.
The default volume and brightness can be set from the "Default Settings Menu".
Visible GPS satellites and parameters can be viewed.
The ONIS will log the visible satellites when the "GPS app" is running or the main "System Menu' is displayed.
The current 10,000 log entries are retained (approx just over 24 hours if the "GPS app" is running ).
A "TPMS Test" image is saved when the user performs a TPMS wheel test from the TPMS Monitoring Page.
The ONIS saves the 30 most recent TPMS test records. and when viewed, the most recent record will be displayed on page 1.
The user can scroll the screen to view any of the records.
A "TPMS Alarm" image is saved when the ONIS detects a TPMS tyre low pressure condition whilst the navigation app is running.

A "TPMS Test" log entry is saved when the user performs a TPMS wheel test from the TPMS Monitoring Page.

The ONIS analyses all daily data and then logs the maximum speed and maximum 90 second rolling average speed, for each day.
All log entries are retained for the life of the ONIS and ordered most recent, at the top of the page.

The ONIS performs an algorithm to estimate the daily distance travelled whilst the navigation app is running and then saves the log entry.

The ONIS can be configured with an owner startup tip which is sequentially selected from the owner gallery and shown when the navigation app is started.
The gallery of these tips can viewed from the Systems & Settings menu.
